The ‘Celebration of Claudia’ includes the following vintages: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016 and 2017. These 6 standout vintages have been recognised with prestigious accolades, including multiple trophies for the Best Brut Cap Classique in both South Africa and international competitions.
Claudia is a traditional method bottle fermented sparkling wine made from predominantly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Following fermentation in bottle, the wine spends a minimum of 54 months on its lees followed by a minimum of 4 months bottle ageing, developing creamy, brioche notes, and refining its mousse. Domaine des Dieux source the majority of the grapes for the base wines from the beautiful cool climate Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, promoting natural acidity for ageability.
